What is STAIRs?
Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements, known as STAIRs, is a new statutory requirement introduced by the Government. The aim is to make it easier for you to access information about how we, as your landlord, manage your home and the services you receive
This information is available on this webpage under a publication scheme, to provide greater transparency and for you to understand how we operate.
STAIRs is being introduced in two phases
From 1st October 2026
We must proactively publish information in a format that you can find easily, without having to ask us
From 1st April 2027
Tenants and shared owners who pay service charges will have the right to request additional, relevant information about how we manage homes and services. We will then respond to this request within regulatory timescales. We’ll share more information about this nearer the time.
STAIRs only applies to the management of our homes and services, it does not apply to your personal information. This means that you can still make a Subject Access Request (SAR) to receive all the personal information we hold on you.
STAIRs publication scheme
As part of STAIRs, we’re required to introduce a publication scheme bringing together all the information you can access as part of the regulation. To help make it easy to find the information you need, we have grouped links below using the STAIRs classes of information, as provided by the Government.

STAIRs requests
From April 2027, you’ll have the right to ask us for information about the services we provide and how we manage your home. We’re currently working on our process for managing STAIRs request and will update this web page with further information nearer the time.
