Regulator of Social Housing awards Raven Housing Trust C1, G1, V2
In March Raven was inspected by the Regulator of Social Housing, these inspections are carried out every three to four years to ensure housing associations, like Raven, are meeting the standards set, to ensure we are delivering for you, our customer.
Following our inspection, we’re really pleased that the Regulator has awarded Raven the highest grading for their new consumer standard, C1.
They have also confirmed that we have retained our previous gradings for their governance standard, G1, and viability standard, V2. The consumer standard assesses how we deliver our services to you and how we keep you safe. Governance is how we are governed, our policies and procedures. And viability refers to our financial health and shows Raven is financially stable and invests well to deliver our services to you.
This is an excellent outcome for Raven, and more importantly for you, our customers. This thorough inspection provides assurance that Raven is already delivering against the demanding standards we have set out in our plan, Delivering What Matters, and we have a clear picture of where improvements are needed.
While this is an excellent result, this in no way means we have achieved everything we want to achieve. It does mean we are in an excellent position to use what we are doing as a spring board to do even better.
The team at Raven is committed to delivering on our promise to you, to deliver what matters. We will continue to look for ways to improve our services to you, and together we will continue to create safe, secure, affordable homes and communities in neighbourhoods you can be proud to call home.
