Activities for the family this Easter

Stuck for what to do with the family over the Easter break? Here’s some ideas of local events taking place for some Easter fun.

  • Merstham Hub Easter Egg Hunt: Thursday 28th March. Back by popular demand, find all the pictures of Easter eggs hidden around the Hub and claim your very own chocolate egg as your prize! Free entry.
  • Giant Easter Egg Trail at County Mall in Crawley: 28th March – 14th April. This Easter there are humongous Easter eggs scattered around the centre. Find all 6, fill out the trail sheet, and post it next to the golden Easter bunny and you could win the ultimate Easter Bundle from Hotel Chocolat.
  • Easter Eggstravaganza in Crawley: Friday 29th March. Join Tilgate Bakery for  some Easter fun, decorate Easter gingerbreads (small charge), a free Easter Hunt, free arts and crafts and colouring competition.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Gatton Park: Friday 29th March and Monday 1st April. Join the hunt at Gatton Park over the Easter weekend. Complete the fun trail and solve the clues to earn your Easter treat! Topical activities and refreshments available to purchase. Perfect for young children. Online booking: £6 adult, £3 child.
  • Easter at The Belfry in Redhill: Saturday 30th March. Between 10am and 4pm, The Belfry will be filled with characters who’ll help spread the word about autism acceptance and inclusion. There’ll be a huge variety there including Spider-Man, Rapunzel, Wolverine, Captain America and even the TARDIS from Doctor Who!
  • Merland Rise Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday 30th March. Easter egg hunt, crafts, refreshments and more at Jubilee Woodland in Tadworth.
  • Horley Easter Egg Hunt: 2nd – 15th April. Pick up an entry form from White & Son’s office on Massetts Road, and whilst exploring Horley town just note down the letters in each participating shop window. Once you have them all, unscramble to discover our Easter bunny’s favourite healthy food.
  • Easter Stay and Play in Nutfield: Tuesday 9th April. A fun-filled morning of cookie decorating, arts and crafts, mini disco and bouncy castle fun. £4 per child.
