Fun Easter activities for families
With the Easter holidays upon us, you might be looking for fun activities to do with the children over the holidays. There are some fantastic chocolate filled adventures being run in the community.
- First up it’s Furzefield School Easter Hunt on Saturday 12th April… our Neighbourhood Wardens will be there to, so do stop to say ‘hello’ to them! Tickets are £4 per child to take part in the hunt and get a chocolate egg, adults are free. Book tickets here.
- Merstham Community Hub has a few things happening over the holidays… on Thursday 17th April (10.30 am to 1 pm) there’s a Free Easter Egg Hunt for children up to the age of 14. From 7th-22nd April there’s a Colouring Competition and from 7th-17th April there’s a Library Easter Trail, which is free to enter just find all the Easter pictures in the library and you may win a book! - In Horley town centre from 7th – 21st April get involved in the free Horley Easter Egg Hunt. Collect an entry form White & Sons Horley and match the business name with the number displayed in their window. More information here.
- On Friday 18th April there’s an Easter Extravaganza at Tilgate Bakery in Crawley the annual event, that’s been running for twelve years. There’s an Easter trail, face painting, decorating biscuits, arts and crafts… and much more. Find out more here.
- Our local libraries also have various Easter themed activities and craft days for the children over Easter. Check what’s on at your local library here.
