LoCASE applications open for renewable energy projects

With applications for LoCASE (Low Carbon Across the South and East)  grants closing on 31st March, now’s the last chance to get funding for your business’ renewable energy project.

What is LoCASE?

LoCASE is a programme supported by the European Regional Development Fund to provide a free business support programme in the South and East.

It aims to help businesses to become more competitive and profitable while protecting the environment and encouraging low carbon solutions.

The LoCASE programme provides business grants, training workshops and fully funded events.

 

Who can get funding?

Targeted business support is on offer for companies who offer “green” or low carbon goods and services.

LoCASE provides individual support to SMEs (including social enterprises) helping them to improve competitiveness, create jobs and increase energy efficiency and new low carbon business.

Since 2016, the programme has helped upwards of 1250 businesses.

 

Where and when?

Funding is available across the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas of Southeast (SELEP), Solent, Coast 2 Capital, and Enterprise M3.

Applications for funding are only open until the end of March 2023, although funding can be claimed up until June 2023.

 Funding is still available in many of the regions that the programme covers; Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Greater Essex, Kent, and Medway.
