Keymer Tiles in West Sussex was one of the oldest, most established industries located in Burgess Hill. The brand, renowned as one of the world's oldest operational roofing manufacturers new home is now located at the Wienerberger’s factory in Ewhurst, Surrey.
Croudace Homes purchased the site and planning consent was granted on 30th April 2010 to develop 475 dwellings of two, three, four and five bedroom homes with a new Community leisure & Medical centre. The first phase of this development consists of 125 plots - where we are offering 38 homes for Affordable Rent and Shared Ownership.
29 plots have been completed leaving 7 rented units of 2 x one bed maisonettes, 4 x two bed houses, 1 x three bed house and 2 x three bed semi-detached houses for Shared Ownership to go. These plots will be handed over in 2018.
The second phase of this development consists of 170 plots and we are offering 37 homes; 25 for Affordable Rent and 12 for Shared Ownership. Construction is under way and our new homes will be handed over in phases from summer 2018 into summer 2019.
Affordable Rent: 9 x one bed apartments, 12 x two bed apartments, 3 x two bed houses & 1 x three bed house. Shared Ownership: 6 x two bed apartments, 3 x two bed houses & 3 x three bed houses.
