Raven services during COVID-19
Yesterday, Boris Johnson announced that the UK is going into another national lockdown to contain the new variant of COVID-19. This means the Government are once again asking us to stay at home.
We all have managed previous lockdowns exceptionally well, adapting quickly to significant changes as they come up. Now, more than ever, we need to continue supporting each other through this challenging period.
The rules are the same as before. You may leave your home for limited reasons, such as to shop for essentials, to work if you absolutely cannot work from home, to exercise, to seek medical assistance, such as getting a Covid test, or to escape domestic abuse.
The full details on what we can and can’t do will be available here.
Much like under the recent Tier 4 restrictions, our services remain unchanged and can continue as normal, but here is a quick and simple graphic to show what services are operating now, coming soon and still on hold.
If you have received a letter from the NHS or your GP advising you to shield, or are in a period of self-isolation, please contact us to let us know, so that we can rearrange any appointments, by calling 0300 123 3399 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not leave it until our tradesmen are at your front door.
We are revisiting all our working risk assessments to make sure we’re doing as much as we can, to keep our customers and staff safe. We also want to reassure everyone that our staff have plenty of PPE supplies (Personal Protective Equipment) to keep everyone safe from infection while we carry out your work in your home.
When you have tradesmen in your home, please stick to the 2-metre distancing rule set out by the government, wear a face covering and if possible, wash your hands before and after our visits, and ask our repairs team to do the same if you’re happy for them to do so. All updates and information can also be found on our website here.
Please prioritise your health and wellbeing, be patient and remember that this time, there’s light ahead. As a nation, we are in a far better position than we were last March. We’ve been here before so we know how to do this. We know what worked last time and what didn’t. Let’s learn from that, get through this period, and keep our sights focused on life ahead.
