Why we are building new homes

We are committed to an ambitious programme of building new homes – with an aim to provide around 220 affordable homes and 40-50 homes for open market sale every year.

We build a variety of homes, including affordable and social rent, shared ownership and open market sale.

We do this by working with developers and by purchasing land and building homes ourselves.

We are part of a group called ‘Building Better’ which involves various housing organisations working together to provide homes more affordably, using modern building methods and joint buying power.

We also have a number of sites in the pipeline where we are exploring innovative new ways of construction.
