Rent arrears
Are you having difficultly paying your rent?
We realise that things can happen which make paying your rent difficult. If this applies to you, contact us on 01737 272 400 straight away.
We will work with you to reach a realistic agreement to pay off your arrears, taking into account your income and spending on other essential items. If you don’t pay your rent and arrears, you could be evicted from your home.
Our policy is to adopt a firm but fair approach to recovering unpaid rent.
We have a leaflet outlining our policy on paying rent and arrears and what happens if you do not come to an agreement to pay off your arrears. We may serve notice on you to seek possession of your home.
