The Phoenix Youth Centre in the heart of the Preston estate in Tadworth boasts a number of bright and colourful rooms including recording studios, dance studio, cooking facilities and a large hall with stage for use by young people. It has previously hosted drop in youth clubs, cooking and healthy lifestyles courses, and trampolining. It will be be open at least three evenings a week from May 2012. The Phoenix Centre is included as part of the regeneration of Preston. Young people will be able to help shape plans for a new youth centre.
