Get involved with YP

Are you passionate about making a positive difference to young peoples' lives? Would you like to support the work we do in and around our youth projects?

We are currently recruiting for volunteers to support the work we do within the youth centres. We have a range of hours, locations and activities for you to support based around your availability and skills.

This is open to people aged 18+ who want to make a positive difference working with young people. You do not need to have worked in a youth club or with young people before as full training and support is provided. You will be required to undergo an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check as part of this role.

We also have opportunities for organisations who work with young people aged 10-25 years old to use the centres for their activities. If you are interested, please email youth@ravenht.org.uk ensuring you tell us which centre you wish to use.

We are also looking for local stakeholders (both adults and young people) to join the steering committee for the youth centres. This group will meet quarterly to shape the provision at the centre and ensure it meets its targets. There are also opportunities for young people to lead on the steering within the club being representatives for their peers and doing peer-led consultation and participation.
