"I joined Falcon to learn more about Raven and its involvement with the local community. It provides an important forum and I welcome the opportunity to share its work and hopefully help other residents."

"The reason I joined Falcon is I wanted to make a difference. Being a mother with young children I wanted our voice to be heard."
Leyla is a tenant representative.
"About 12 years ago I became a tenant of RBBC and live in Sheltered Accommodation. Shortly after Raven came into being, I learnt that tenants were becomiong actively involved and I began to show my face on various committees.
I now have the pleasure to represent our other tenants on Falcon."

"I decided to join Falcon as I am looking for an opportunity outside my working environment that will give something back to the wider community using the experience I have gained. Recently, I have helped out on volunteering projects, mentoring basic computer and job seeking skills for all ages. I have also worked with late teens on a Young Enterprise scheme, where they successfully launched a mobile phone App for new students living away from home for the first time. I believe the Federation allows me to continue in this vein on more local projects, closer to home and in matters that impact me and those who live around me."

Julie Eade - Chair
"I have been with Raven Housing since they took over from Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. I have successfully applied for Falcon as I feel strongly that I would like to be able to give something back to the community that I have lived in all my life. Having lived in Woodhatch, Redhill and now in Merstham. I have seen many changes over the years in town centres and the surrounding housing estates and want to participate and be part of the changes for the better in the future."

"I am a mum of two from Horley and I work at Gatwick Airport on check-in. Before that I was a lollipop lady for eight years and a Games Maker for London 2012. I decided to join Falcon as I want to make a difference in my local community."

"I joined Falcon to help residents understand how the Trust makes decisions that concern everybody."
Robert is a tenant representative.
"Initially I was interested in the operations of RHT and how residents were able to affect policies and procedures. Joining Falcon will give me an opportunity to learn more about this. Coming from a commercial rather than public sector background, I hope to use my experience to promote the residents viewpoint."
