John Butler, Chair

John has over 30 years experience in social housing, including ten years as Chief Executive of the PHA Group based in Portsmouth.  He has been extensively involved in community regeneration and has been active in the voluntary sector particularly in mediation and community finance.  John has been a board member of various voluntary organisations including acting as Chair and Treasurer.  He has wide experience of partnerships and helped to found and became Chair of the Portsmouth Housing Partnership and Portsmouth Local Strategic Partnership.

John joined Raven Housing Trust because of its record as a locally focused organisation working with its residents to deliver a really good service and benefit the wider community.
