Kim FarnesKim Farnes is Raven's Welfare Benefits Advisor. Kim can help you find out about benefits that you might be entitled to. She will help complete claim forms, check entitlements and challenge decisions that might be incorrect.

Reporting changes for Housing Benefit
(Reigate and Banstead)

You can now report a change in your circumstances to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council by phone if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit. In most cases the Council will not ask you to provide proof of the change, and you will receive details of your new awards within a few days.

To report a change in your circumstances please phone the Council on 01737 276497 to speak to an advisor. You can also report a change by e-mail at benefits@reigate-banstead.gov.uk.

There will be some changes will need you to provide further proof, such as a change of address, and this can be taken to any of the Council's Help Shops in Banstead, Reigate, Merstham, Redhill and Horley. You can also take details to Raven House or the estate office in Preston Lane, Tadworth.

It is important that you do report changes when they happen, as it is an offence to fail to report a change even if it is unintentional. For further information about benefits, please visit the Council's website or contact the Council on the above number or by e-mail.
